BMA

BMA is a French & Canadian musician based in Vancouver, blending atmospheric post-rock with chill, cinematic textures. A bassist at heart, he began composing his own instrumental pieces in 2019, exploring the emotional space between acoustic warmth and ambient depth.

His first demo, Asynchronous (2020), marked the start of his creative journey as a self-taught composer and producer. This was followed by two full-length albums — Ephemeral, released in 2022, mixed by Dan Ponich and mastered by Grammy Award–winner Dave Collins, and Born From The Last Rain in 2025, self-mixed and mastered by Dan Ponich.

BMA’s music weaves acoustic guitars, bass, and drums with layers of piano, strings, and synths, crafting immersive soundscapes that balance introspection and movement. Though a non-professional musician, his compositions reflect a sincere devotion to tone, emotion, and texture — music that invites reflection and connection.
